Meet the Doctors and Hygienists
Dr Debbie Leong
Debbie is an extroverted person and treats her patients as part of her family. She speaks four languages and she is full of life.
Debbie graduated from the University of Qld in 1986 and has been in full time private practice for over 19 years. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association. Debbie is passionate about meeting the dental needs of her patients. Her special interest is in cosmetic dentistry and she believes every smile can be beautiful and healthy. She has relentless energy and believes in doing the best you can in whatever you do in life.
Debbie enjoys keeping fit with aerobics and tennis. She is also a very keen runner and recently completed the 21.2 km Brisbane half marathon. She play tennis fixtures weekly.
She has great empathy for the disadvantaged and she will be embarking on a humanitarian project to meet the dental needs of villages in remote Laos with her dental assistant. They will leave for Laos mid October 2009.
Dr Sean Low
Sean is a caring and dedicated dentist. His exceptional dental skills combined with his incredible up to date dental knowledge earned him a First Class Honours degree in Dental School, University of Queensland in 2003. Sean enjoys private practice but still maintains a mentoring program for final year dental students at the Logan Dental Hospital on a weekly basis.
Sean is a firm believer of continuing education i.e. we can keep improving our technique, skills and knowledge and keeping up with technology. He is a skillful operator and communicates well with his patients.
Outside dentistry he keeps his life busy with his charity work and keeps fit playing tennis, badminton and going to the gym.
Dr Leanne Leung
Leanne graduated from the University of Queensland with First Class Honours in 1999 and has been working full time in Brisbane ever since. Her gentle and soft nature, wonderful chair side manner, excellent communication skills and dental expertise greatly compliment and enhance our dedicated dental team. Dr Leung is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
Leanne enjoys family activities, which includes helping out her children in various extra curricular activities. Leanne loves reading, watching movies and trying out different foods. In the past, her family has bred and shown their beautiful German Shepherds, one of which has won the title of Champion.
Viola Laurel Viola graduated from the Griffith University, Queensland in 2006 with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Oral Health Therapy. She has been working as our registered Dental Hygienist and Therapist ever since.
Viola plays a vital role in our team. She works with the dentists in helping you in maintaining and improving the health of your gums and teeth. With her expansive knowledge on the latest prevention methods she is able to give you individual advice and oral hygiene education. She also thoroughly cleans all surfaces of your teeth, including removing stains and applys fluoride to strengthen teeth.
As a fully trained dental therapist Viola treats most of our young patients. She is able to do any simple fillings, fissure sealants and removal of baby teeth if necessary. Viola has such a loving and caring nature that quickly puts patients at ease. Our patients love Viola's thoroughness and gentle approach, which means both adults and children leave with a happy and healthy smile.
Michelle Burnett
Michelle Graduated in 1991 as a Dental Therapist and have been in the dental industry for 18 years. She completed the Academic Upgrade in 2002, which provided qualifications in Dental Hygiene and Health Promotion. Like Viola, she is fully qualified Dental Hygienist/Therapist and work together in the important hygiene department of debbie leong dental.
She enjoys spending time with my husband and two small children at Caloundra, going to the beach I also enjoy going on holidays, camping, bike riding and fishing
She keeps herself fit by all kinds of exercise – running, swimming and going to the gym.
Monica Sennert
We welcome Monica to our important Hygiene Department. She joined us in March 2009. Monica is a fully registered dental hygienist and obtained her Advance Diploma of Dental Hygiene in Adelaide in 2005. She has been working in the dental industry for 9 years.
Monica is a very keen traveler and trekker and her next destinations will be in South America and Cuba.
She loves the outdoors especially the hinterland and the great walks here in Queensland and of course she loves the beaches.
Yoga keeps her vital and agile, she is a firm believer that a clear mind goes hand in hand with a healthy body.
